TOYOTA CROWN MS55 2300S Deluxe gearbox thoughts

Here are som photos of the W40 4 speed in my MS55 Crown, sitting behind a 2M.

I want to drop in a 5 speed W50 or W58 but am unsure what wold be the easiest fit.

The W40 measures 89,5cm from front of bellhousing to rear of gearbox as indicated in red.

Finally, a clean car. And not that long before the weather is good enough for even more cruising around the countryside. Took a whole lot of pictures with my iPhone so that you can see the car a cleaned up - click here

It would be good to be able to wash and polish the car soon - hoping for better weather

Citroën GS 1220 Club Berline 1972

These long winter months are dangerous - surfing endlessly on the net, looking for interesting classics.
Sometimes, and only sometimes, it ends well. As it has his time - have found a really well preserved Citroën GS from 1972 that will fill out the gap between the Lotus and the next classic.
